Website maintenance
Have you ever visited a website and noticed that the content is outdated? Having an out of date website is almost as bad as having no website at all! As the internet has grown in popularity so has the number of websites that offer irrelevent and outdated content. Much of this is because many website owners don't have the time to update their websites on a regular basis and it is always a case of "I'll do that tomorrow...".
My website maintenance service eliminates this problem. For just £25 per hour I will locate any out of date content and report back to you with recommendations on what elements should be updated. Common issues are out of date copyright footers, broken links and outdated contact details.
Once I've identified what needs to be updated I will then need access to your website so I can make the necessary changes. If your website is particularly large then a flat fee approach might be more economical for you. Further details of this can be requested via my contact page.

Keep it relevant: If your website is all about the latest plastic manufacturing processes then ensure your content is relevant to this. Talking about the decline of honey bees in the UK won't help you in search engine results as your keyword density won't be relevant to your meta tags.
Flash: Used in moderation flash can help turn a good website into a fantastic website. But, as with anything, too much can put visitors off and damage your search engine positioning.
Contact: Make sure your contact details are easy to find. This will help build trust in your brand and will give your customers confidence in your services.
Keep it simple: Don't clutter your pages with unnecessary content. Keep your navigation links simple and easy to find. A cluttered website will put potential customers off as they won't hang around to make sense of it.
Plan: Planning is the key to a successful website. By asking questions about your project I will be able to plan how your website will function once it is completed.
